Atascocita is an unincorporated area on Lake Houston with golf-course neighborhoods and more recent construction than Kingwood’s older villages. It is a collection of separate neighborhoods, each with its own HOA, amenities and tax rate. Many neighborhoods are in municipal utility districts instead of the City of Houston. Both Atascocita and Kingwood are served mostly by Humble ISD. Some Kingwood sections are in New Caney ISD. Verify the schools for the address.
