North Woodland Hills
One of the original 1970s villages, on its own trail system.
North Woodland Hills was formed by Friendswood Development in the mid-1970s. Together with South Woodland Hills it shares a trail association founded in 1972 and about 592 acres developed by Friendswood and King Ranch.
What sets North Woodland Hills apart
North Woodland Hills keeps a pool at 2159 Fir Springs and Stolz Park, with a playground and full basketball court, maintained with the trails by the Woodland Hills Trail Association. Most homes are in Harris County and the City of Houston, but a few are in Montgomery County, where tax records may show a different school district. Removing any tree needs an approved application.
HAR tracks North and South Woodland Hills together: about 1,604 Harris County homes, median built 1977.
